A Message from Nsefu Wildlife's Co-Founder Coe Lewis!
Your foundation has been hard at work on the ground fighting extinction!
Dear Nsefu Supporters!
Your foundation has been hard at work on the ground fighting extinction AND making a big difference in the community in the Nsefu Sector of Zambia. Our Nsefu Wildlife rangers continue to make arrests, confiscate illegal weapons and gear in the field, provide a deterring presence in the bush, and continue to work side by side with the Dept. of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) on the ground protecting Zambia's magnificent wildlife.
LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR CONSERVATION PROGRAMS!
Unfortunately, the current global economic uncertainty has negatively impacted the wildlife of Africa. Wildlife crime and trafficking are on the rise and we are seeing it in the field and all over Africa. And the global uncertainty has most definitely impacted the financial stability of our foundation. We are having to adjust the scale of our foundation to match our finances and will do whatever it takes to save wildlife. Every day we strive to keep our foundation moving forward but it costs money and unfortunately we have seen our donations significantly drop this year. It's a very tough time for sure but we continue to create fundraising events and are participating in high-profile events raising funds and raising awareness.
Check out our website’s event page to see great upcoming events that Nsefu Wildlife will be a part of in the San Diego area. We had the smashing debut of the the 1st Annual Nsefu Wildlife Motorcycle Monkey Run with our friend, KGB-FM Radio Personality Clint August. We can't wait for the 2nd Annual Run!!!
Both here and in Africa, Nsefu Wildlife works hard to spread awareness of the global crisis for wildlife. We are in the fight of our lives for their future. Not only do we have our ranger team sharing the message, we also have conservation education programs in both our schools that help us cover children K-12. Nsefu Wildlife continues to create economic opportunities in employment and training with our ranger program, our women's sewing program, and our pioneering biofencing and beekeeping program. By lifting UP the community, we are able to create more impact IN conservation.
Please think of your foundation for your charitable donations. You can make a one-time or monthly donation. Whichever you choose...just know our foundation appreciates it!
Thank you for your support!
Coe, Victory and Team Nsefu
