Nsefu Wildlife's Spring 2022 Fundraiser!

Help support conservation in Africa, donate today!

Hi friends!

I wanted to ask if you could help me and my Nsefu Wildlife teammate Andre Gascoigne do some much-needed shopping for our Nsefu Wildlife Ranger Team?

We got the call from Team Nsefu Zambia that our ranger team DESPERATELY needs new supplies and funding for fuel and food due to skyrocketing inflation in Zambia. Every season all of our gear takes a SERIOUS beating due to the unforgiving terrain in the Nsefu Sector. Clothing and boots get basically destroyed each season with our monthly patrols. Our tents take a beating, flashlights break, etc. and it is just something we have to deal with running a full-time 10-person ranger team. Furthermore, fuel and food prices have skyrocketed and we need to increase our budget to keep the team running full-time. We need to buy stuff over here in the US and when we hit the ground over there.

Andre and I will be there this summer overseeing all of our programs and I promise you it is INSANELY hard work. I wish I could say we had a steady stream of funding...but we don't. Each month we go to work raising money to keep Nsefu Wildlife kicking butt in the field. Dropping poaching over 70% is not an accident...it is because we work incredibly hard every single day and we think outside the box. Extinction is happening as we speak and we don't get time off.

I would be SO grateful if you were able to help our work this summer and keep our amazing Nsefu Wildlife Rangers on the ground saving animals and wowing everyone in conservation. Of course you would get a tax deduction as Nsefu Wildlife Conservation Foundation is a 501c nonprofit Tax ID 47-3422796. I would be truly grateful. And I will be honest...I am kind of exhausted right now after doing this for over 6 years!!!

I love and appreciate you and THANK YOU on behalf of Team Nsefu.

NWCF President, Coe Lewis.

Elephant Tusks Found by Rangers

When we find ivory, we take it off the market.

During Nsefu Wildlife's most recent anti-poaching patrol, our rangers found two pairs of tusks from elephants that we believe died of natural causes.

The tusks have been turned over to the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNWP), and they will be taken to the Chilanga HQ and destroyed.

Nsefu Wildlife at Earth Fair 2022

Thank you to everyone that dropped by our booth!

The Nsefu Wildlife team joined many other Earth Friendly organizations at Earth Fair 2022 in Balboa Park.

We enjoyed meeting so many people that have the same concerns about the health of our planet and shared our message of conservation, education and economic empowerment in the Nsefu Sector of Zambia.

We look forward to next Earth Fair in 2023!

Rock the Wild was a BIG success! Thank you!

We look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Annual Rock The Wild!

THANK YOU to everyone who showed up to support our 1st Annual "Rock the Wild" show at the Jolly Joker Tavern! You helped make it a BIG success and we are truly humbled by the turnout of friends and supporters of Nsefu Wildlife!

A very special thank you to the wonderful bands who donated their time and talent to help us raise money for our conservation work - The Farmers SD, Sledd, Roni Lee, and Black Star Sinners! The bands just knocked it out of the park and everyone had such a great time!

Thank you to The Jolly Joker Tavern for hosting the event and to the volunteers who helped Team Nsefu put on a fun event for everyone. "Rock the Wild" was a concept cofounder Coe Lewis wanted to get off the ground to help support Nsefu Wildlife and it looks like it's off to a great start!

Thank you again for showing up and showing your support for Nsefu Wildlife and the amazing bands who participated. We promise to keep working hard to protect endangered and critically endangered wildlife in Africa. We can't do this without YOU!

We can't wait for the 2nd Annual "Rock the Wild"!!!!

With gratitude and thanks,

Team Nsefu Wildlife
