Ranger Report - December 2017
Our Rangers work year round to stop poaching!
Hi all,
As the year 2017 comes to the end, I hope you are fine.
We are going into the rainy season. We made a plan to combat poaching during this time of impassibly bad muddy roads. We came up with the idea of “flying” anti- poaching camps, scouts are hiking and camping for twenty (20) days at a time in the bush before we deploy another team.
Recently, our scouts impounded two guns, impala meat, fifteen (15) snares and two pairs of ivory tusks. One person was arrested. The items were recovered in the Game Management Area near the Mwangazi River and in Kazungula. We worked hand in hand with another team of rangers in Kazungula.
l would like to thank you for the support you rendered during 2017.
Happy New Year!
Stay Blessed,
Silomba Charles
