Elephant Raids Farm - Rapid Response Team Investigates!
On Monday (7/21), the Community Rapid Response Team (CRRT) received a report that crops were damaged by elephants, and the CRRT rushed there in the morning to assess the situation.
From the assessment, there was obvious damage to the crops and the CRRT are considering what support we can give the local farmers to help compensate for their lost crops.
Hopefully, with lessons learned from events like these, our team can learn how to work the community and determine how to best prevent this from happening again in the future.
